Kevin Rubin

Chief Financial Officer

Kevin Rubin is the Chief Financial Officer at BetterUp, where he leads the Human Transformation company's financial strategy, management, planning, and analytics. In this role, Kevin ensures that BetterUp's financial operations align with its mission to unlock human potential.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in scaling global financial organizations, Kevin has a proven track record in managing financial complexities and leading transformational change for both public and private growth-stage companies.

Prior to joining BetterUp, Kevin served as CFO at Alteryx, where he was instrumental in overseeing global financial operations, including Alteryx Ventures, real estate, and workplace services. During his tenure, he helped scale the company’s ARR from under $100M to $1B and successfully led Alteryx through its IPO.

Before his time at Alteryx, he was the CFO of MSC Software, a private equity-backed software company. In this company, he navigated the organization through major transitions, including shifting to a subscription-based model and overseeing mergers, acquisitions, and debt and recapitalization transactions.

Earlier in his career, Kevin held CFO positions at Pictage, Data Direct, and MRV Communications, gaining experience across a variety of industries. He began his professional journey at Arthur Andersen, working with a wide range of companies, from startups to publicly traded enterprises.

Kevin currently serves on the board of Forum for Corporate Directors (FCD). He is a certified public accountant (inactive) in California and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Economics with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
